Tried,True, and Easy Freezer Meals
Part 6 of the Master Guide to Freezer Meals
This is the final part of The Master Guide to Freezer Meals. Throughout this series of posts, I have explained in detail how I stock my deep freeze every 3 months. Here are links to other posts in this series:

Part 2: How Meal Planning Should Start: Taking a Household Inventory
Part 3: A Little Meal Prep That Makes a Lot of Meals
Part 4: How to Get Your Meals to Plan Themselves
Part 5: My Grocery Shopping Secrets: Where to Shop and What to Buy
In this post, I will share all the recipes and foods my household loves and routinely keeps in inventory. Most of my recipes are SUPER SIMPLE, meaning you don’t have to be a chef to make them! They are practical and won’t require you to buy a whole bunch of ingredients you will never use again. That being said, these recipes are my family’s favorites, so don’t feel like you are limited to using these recipes! If you already have a meatball recipe your family loves, then don’t feel obligated to try mine! My method for meal planning is to find meals that my family loves and keep them stocked.
I am going to share not only the recipes I use, but also the convenience foods that we buy. Because I am a busy person who constantly struggles to stay caught up, I’m okay with our meals not being 100% homemade. Keeping some premade frozen foods on hand decreases our frequency of getting take out and ultimately saves us money. The $8 pizza I buy from Sam’s Club that feeds our family for 2 days is cheaper than the $20 Thai food take out that feeds Micah and I one meal (but I do LOVE Thai food!)

I love all your posts… Wondering what your budget is for 2 weeks or even a month???
Hi Holly! My big grocery trips typically cost me around $800. Additionally, I probably spend about $50 on produced every 2-3 weeks, so I would say we spend about $100 a week, for all meals, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Thanks for commenting – I love hearing from my readers! And please don’t hesitate to ask any other questions! Best wishes!
