Valentine’s Treats to Make with Kids
Looking for something fun to do with your young kids this Valentine’s Day? Why not spend part of the day making one of these easy Valentine’s Day treats.
This post includes a variety of treats, some are simple and some will take more time. I hope you can find one to make from this list! (These recipes come from the best bloggers around – they are tried and true!)
This year for Valentine’s Day, we are going to be making one of the following treats below, I just haven’t decided which one (or ones) yet!
I have decided that while the treats are baking or cooling, Cupid is going to come by and steal the cookies (Cupid LOVES sweets – who knew?!?) And then my kids are going to set out on a Valentine’s Day Scavenger Hunt around the house, looking for Cupid so they can get their cookies back!
Which of these treats are you going to make?
Stay savvy,
You only need 4 ingredients to make these colorful cookies; cake batter, oil, eggs, and sprinkles! A great Valentine's Day activity to do with your kids!
Your child will have a great time making these chocolate covered pretzels! As Lois mentions in her post, these are great to make with your child and then easy to pack in your significant other's lunch, wrapped in cellophane!
These frosted sugar cookie bars look so good. Cheryl even includes options to make the recipe gluten and dairy free!
Sarah's strawberry yogurt popsicles look like a fun treat to make and share with your little Valentine!
Holly's little Valentine's "Hugs" look delicious; made of pretzels, Hugs, and M & M's. Your child is going to love helping you make these sweet and salty treats!
Your child is going to have a great time making these layered hearts, made up of various kinds of fruit! Great for families looking for an allergy free option!
You are going to have so much fun making these chocolate-dipped chocolate chip cookies!
Sara's fun chocolate dipped oreos look delicious! Your kid will have so much fun making these! I would definitely use Double Stuf Oreos!
These Rolo Pretzel's are always a favorite at my house! Unwrapping all the Rolo's is a great fine motor acitivty - just saying!
These chocolate dipped wafer cookies look amazing! What kid doesn't love to eat these wafer cookies? Dipping a wafer cookie in chocolate? Even better (if that's possible!)
These "mice" crispie treats are so cute and easy to make! Your kid will have a blast making these!
