I am a working mother to two toddler boys; trying to juggle all the things. The laundry, the cooking, the cleaning, my kids, my job, paying the bills, and whatever else life throws at me. Every day is a challenge to see how much stuff I can get done. And I assure you, that most days I just do the best I can and accept that it’s impossible to finish it all.
Now there’s one thing that I’m a little regretful of and as a mom and quite honestly, I’m a little embarrassed to admit. My kids only have partially filled in baby books. I did take pictures of monumental events, sitting up for the first time, saying mama, taking their first steps, etc. And I do fully intend to go back and fill everything into their baby books, but right now, life is just crazy and chaotic and I am currently taking life day by day.
How to use the Busy Mom Planner Pages:
That’s why I decided to make some busy mom planner pages. A free planner insert or printable with space specifically dedicated to tracking your special memories with your family. Additionally, I made sections to keep track of stuff that’s important as a working mom:
- Priorities section. My intent is to use this section for things that must get done that day and are crucial to remembering. Like the water bill is due – TODAY. Or I’ve got to remember to get those thank you notes in the mail that I’ve been meaning to send for 3 months now.
- A work and home to-do list: I seriously juggle three, but 2 lists is more reasonable and probably more common for most moms’ needs. You can keep track of meetings, who you need to call, etc.
- What’s Cooking?: A place to jot down what’s for meals. (I only track dinner because breakfast and lunch tend to be whatever I can find).
- Things to Remember: A place to scribble notes, like I need to remember to add apples to the grocery list or Henry need diapers at school.
- Memories to Cherish: A place for writing down those memorable moments with your kids.

At the end of the day, you can use these pages however you see fit. You can print them off and can either put them into a 3-ring binder or make them a planner insert. Here’s a great set of instructions to change the size of the printable if you have a specific size of planner you already use and want to use them as an insert. Additionally, here’s a link to give you instructions on how to make a planner insert. I plan to save them in a big 3-ring binder and use them as a type of memory book. They’ll be a great place to reflect on what was happening in our life at the time and the special moments that happened amidst the chaos.
